GBA Strengthens Traffic Engineering / Transportation Planning Capabilities with Addition of Sandlin
Lenexa, Kan., (November 12, 2008) – Amy Sandlin has joined GBA, a leading engineering and architectural firm headquartered here, as a traffic engineer for the firm’s Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning Group.
Sandlin specializes in all aspects of traffic engineering analysis and design including traffic impact studies, intersection design and layout, interchange design, signal design, construction traffic control, and street lighting and signing.
Sandlin earned a BS degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in traffic and transportation design from Texas A&M University. She is a registered professional engineer in Kansas. Sandlin is active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the Kansas City Chapter if ITE, and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
