Dave Mennenga Named Associate by GBA

Lenexa, Kan. (November 1, 2008) – Dave Mennenga has been named an Associate by GBA, an engineering and architectural firm headquartered here. A member of the firm’s Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning Group, Mennenga serves as project manager and lead engineer on many traffic and transportation planning studies and improvement projects. Studies include private development traffic impacts, roadway safety, parking and circulation, corridor/access management, and highway interchanges. He is also experienced in intersection capacity analysis and simulation modeling; roadway and intersection design; and roundabout analysis and design.

Mennenga earned a Master’s degree in traffic and transportation engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Prior to joining GBA, he was with HWS Consulting Group, Inc. in Lincoln. Mennenga is a registered professional engineer in the states of Kansas and Missouri. He is nationally certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). Mennenga is active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Founded in 1969, GBA has a staff of more than 240 located in offices in Lenexa, Kansas; Kansas City, St. Louis, and O'Fallon in Missouri; and Lisle, Illinois.
