George Butler Associates, Inc. (GBA) Announces Staff Updates; Continues to Lead the Way as Provider of Remarkable Engineering Solutions

O’Fallon, Mo. (January 28, 2008) – George Butler Associates, Inc. (GBA), a leading Midwest engineering and architectural firm, announces the following:

John Choinka, P.E., has been named Group Leader of the Water Environment Group. Choinka has been with the firm for 13 years. As an associate of the firm, he has been integral in the progressive growth of the office. Choinka has been involved in all aspects of office leadership, including project management, land acquisition, design and construction administration for a variety of roadway and public utility projects, spanning commercial and municipal development.

Kevin Corwin, P.E., was named Group Leader of the Municipal Group. Corwin’s responsibilities will include overseeing engineering studies and design and construction administration for sanitary sewers, roadways, storm water, right-of-way and easement acquisition, code development and more. Corwin also provides grant writing services to municipal clients to help secure financial support from private and public entities. He has been with GBA for six years.

Jim Dunajcik, P.E., has been named a senior engineer. Dunajcik provides design and project management for GBA’s Water Environment Group, where he is responsible for water and wastewater systems analysis, planning, and design and water resources management, including watershed analysis, floodplain management, stormwater detention design, lake, dam, and spillway design, sediment and erosion control, and bioengineering. Prior to joining GBA Dunajcik was a project manager for the Engineering Division of the Kansas City, Missouri, Water Services Department where he served as Vice Chairman of the Levee Committee.

Charles E. Touzinsky, III, P.E., recently joined the Transportation Group as a senior engineer. He brings more than 10 years of experience in highway and municipal roadway design. A licensed professional engineer in the state of Missouri, Touzinsky is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering. He is a professional member of TEAM, Transportation Engineers Association of Missouri.
