Industrial, Urban, and Rural Site Inspection, Cleanup, and Remediation
The cleanup of environmentally contaminated industrial, urban, and rural properties is normally regulated under the EPA's CERCLA and RCRA environmental regulation.
Recently, most states have initiated Voluntary Cleanup programs as part of their environmental programs. These programs have cut the cost and "red tape" involved in attaining a letter of No Further Action for a site. The letter is issued by the state for the site in question. GBA has successfully used these Voluntary Cleanup programs to remediate sites conatminated with oil spills and lead. The savings to the parties involved in cleanup has been substantial.
