The McPherson expansion involved the design and construction of a 105,000-sf addition to the manufacturing facility and a two-story, 48,000-sf administration and laboratory support building.
Designed to increase production capacity, the project involved installation of an isolated aseptic filling line and a lyophilizer for freeze drying products that are heat sensitive or that decompose in liquid solution. The design included the installation of specialized controls, mechanical and electrical systems, and clean room facilities required to support the expanded operations.
