Kansas City International Airport

Terminal C Parking Structure — Kansas City, Missouri

This three-story parking garage was built below grade with natural ventilation and unobstructed views of the terminal. The garage includes three elevator towers complete with pedestrian bridges and underground tunnels connecting the parking structure to the terminal building. This parking garage has the capacity to hold 2,250 cars.

The unique architectural design of the garage incorporates precast facade with colored concrete. A post-tensioned silica fume concrete along with precast panels enclose the exterior. The structure is supported by a pile foundation system.

Carl Walker, Inc. served as the parking consultant for this project.

GBA provided architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, structural and traffic engineering design and surveying services.
