Transportation Improvement Plan

LaClede County, Missouri

An increased number of homes built outside of the urbanized areas of Laclede County, Missouri, and an increased traffic volume resulted in the need for a comprehensive transportation improvement plan. The county selected GBA to develop a county-wide transportation improvement plan for use by county officials and staff to prioritize and organize roadway improvement projects.

The planning process considered nearly 580 miles of county roads and included an extensive analysis of the existing thoroughfare system, traffic volumes, pavement conditions, and existing maintenance practices.
