GBA was selected to design and commission lethal, high-voltage, electrified security fence systems at the Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center and the Potosi Correctional Center. Our objective was to provide a lethal deterrent to enhance the perimeter security for these facilities. Commissioning services included the following:

• Develop a commissioning plan
• Develop functional and operational test procedures
• Review shop drawings and submittals
• On-site inspection and verification of equipment installation
• Functional and operational tests
• Training for maintenance and custody staff

The following priorities were built into the design

• Safety of the staff and public
• System reliability
• Operational considerations
• Maintenance considerations
• Integration with other security systems
