Construction / Escrow Administration

GBA utilizes a systems approach to construction administration, bringing together a team to coordinate and orchestrate the various administrative responsibilities. Utilizing this approach, the owner can be confident that he is well informed about all aspects of project construction, from scheduling to quality control. GBA's construction administration services may include some or all of the following, depending on the needs of the client:

Construction Administration:

  • Represent the owner on numerous construction matters
  • Monitor construction schedules
  • Coordinate and chair construction progress meetings
  • Maintain correspondence with all parties
  • Maintain full-time inspection and quality control program
  • Coordinate construction safety program
  • Coordinate shop drawing review process and documentation
  • Maintain field office control center
  • Coordinate and monitor required construction changes
  • Provide construction documentation (field reports, photos, etc.)
  • Develop change order estimates
  • Review and recommend approval of contractor's pay requests
  • Provide cash flow reports, budget forecasting
  • Coordinate project close-out (inspections, testing, as-built drawings)
  • Assist to activate the facility (commissioning) in operation and maintenance
  • Coordinate/perform construction staking and surveys

Escrow Administration:

  • Review/approve cost estimates
  • Review Escrow/Bond/Surety Agreements
  • Coordinate/conduct inspections for release of funds
  • Provide documentation of all releases and retention
