GBA Companies Leadership Promotions and Growth
GBA Companies is proud to announce the promotion of Dan Abitz to GBA Companies President following the retirement of GBA CEO and more recently GBA Companies President, Tim Ross. Ross will continue his involvement at GBA Companies by working in a consulting capacity after his retirement as President in July.
Abitz has worked for GBA for over 37 years, climbing the ranks through various roles. In addition to his new title as President, he will continue his role as Chair of the GBA Companies Board of Directors (BOD).

I am honored to move into this role, to continue working with staff on opportunities to keep GBA Companies moving forward,” said Dan Abitz. “I am excited to see what is in store for the future of this company, and I feel so humbled and fortunate to be a part of it.”
As part of this transition, a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Corporate Attorney have been added to the leadership team.
After a rigorous nationwide search, the GBA Companies BOD is pleased to announce Ken White as the new CAO of GBA Companies. White brings over 10 years of executive-level, experience from growing organizations, launching new products and revenue streams and analyzing issues to move businesses forward in a profitable and scalable way. He most recently served as President for Service Management Group, leading a team of over 350 employees comprised of marketing, sales and business development professionals. White will provide leadership for most of the GBA Companies Corporate Services team, including Facilities, Human Resources, Information Technology and Marketing.

Scott Grier, Corporate Attorney, joined GBA Companies in June 2022. Grier is a seasoned construction and business attorney with demonstrated strength in contracts and has served as outside counsel to both construction firms and engineering/architecture firms. He was most recently a Partner at Rouse Frets White Goss Gentile Rhodes, PC. At GBA Companies, Grier is responsible for working with Project Managers, Directors, Principals and Affiliate Presidents to review contracts, serve as a legal advisor, aid with board governance, act as an intermediary for dispute resolution, coordinate with outside counsel and lead efforts on licensing and registrations.
