GBA’s Doug Van Meter Named Mission Critical Principal
GBA is excited to announce the promotion of Doug Van Meter to firm Principal. Van Meter brings more than 23 years of experience in the Mission Critical market including facility planning and problem solving to his new role. Starting as an intern at GBA in 1996, Van Meter has led teams and helped bring hundreds of projects to successful completion.
In his new role as Principal, Van Meter will contribute to GBA’s strategic plan using leadership skills and industry knowledge he has developed over his 23 years with the firm. In addition to mission critical expertise, Van Meter’s ability to think critically and strategically, has been integral to the growth of GBA.
“I’m excited to have someone joining the principal team that has been with us since the beginning of his career,” said GBA President/CEO Tim Ross. “It’s been great to see Doug grow over the years and I’m eager to see the difference he can make in this new role.”
Van Meter graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He is an active member of various industry organizations, including AFCOM and 7×24 Exchange, and is a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer in seven states.
