Legacy Project

The Harry S. Truman Sports Complex, home of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, was one of GBA’s first major projects led by George Butler himself. GBA provided all civil site engineering services, including the design of roadways, bridges and parking facilities.

Legacy Project

The Mamba at Worlds of Fun was once the tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster in the world. GBA provided structural design of the footings and foundations for the ride, the architectural design of the station and ancillary buildings, the site/civil engineering design and construction administration.

GBA Project managers are responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and construction phases of a project, as well as managing budgets, schedules, and personnel. GBA works closely with other members of the AEC team to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

Schier Products

GBA provided architecture and design for the 52,500-square-foot final light manufacturing facility. The design breaks down into 8,000 square feet of office and 44,500 square feet of warehouse/production space. The site will also accommodate future expansions of up to 225,000 square feet, ensuring the company can remain in its new home for years to come.

Lenexa Civic Center

In its East Village, GBA designed the street, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and utility infrastructure for the Lenexa Civic Center. Additionally, GBA worked with the master developer and the city to design the first phase of the site, including its main road, 89th Street and Penrose Lane.

Overland Park Regional Medical Center

GBA served as the civil engineer of record for the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, completing site design, grading plans, utilities, surveying, temporary access points and landscaping for the hospital. As a Kansas City Engineering Firm, GBA takes pride in the quality work we provide our clients.
