GBA opened its doors in Omaha, Nebraska, where its Water Environment Group began pursuing combined sewer overflow work in the region, as well as the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas.
gba Systems Integrators, LLC was formed as a wholly-owned subsidiary of GBA and began providing IT network integration and consulting with a team of professional engineers and technical experts.
GBA expanded its regional footprint to Broomfield, Colorado. This office houses many of GBA’s life sciences experts.
Expansion continued for the GBA team in 2015 with a new office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
GBA was chosen as a major participant in the Johnson County Gateway design-build project, providing bridge, traffic and roadway design services. This was GBA’s first opportunity to participate in the rapidly growing practice of design build.
The Liberty Wastewater Treatment Facility was a prominent project for GBA in 2016. The team provided surveying, architecture, civil engineering and utility services to the award-winning design-build project located in Liberty, Missouri.
GBA headed south to open its newest office in Austin, Texas. This location is another step in growing GBA’s regional footprint.
Infrastructure Solutions, LLC – GBA’s most recently established subsidiary – was formed in response to the growing need to improve aging infrastructure. The team provides contracting, construction and design-build services.
GBA kicked off its anniversary year with a logo highlighting the firm’s 50-year history.
