Derek has been part of the Bridge Group at GBA since 1999 and has worked on a wide variety of bridge projects ranging from design to inspection to load ratings. He has managed the design of bridge projects for municipalities, counties and state DOTs. His inspection background includes everything from routine in-service bridge inspections to detailed, hands-on inspections of complex fracture critical bridges. Derek also has extensive experience with the load rating of bridges, bridge maintenance projects and emergency bridge repair projects.
