Katie is an experienced project manager who continually succeeds at exceeding project goals while staying on time and under budget.  Katie is experienced in identifying potential issues with proposed improvements to create a design that provides the best and most economical option for each site. She strives to develop solutions that exceed her client’s project goals and improve efficiency throughout the design and construction phases.

During her time at GBA, Katie has modeled streams and storm sewer systems throughout Kansas and Missouri, evaluating system hydraulics, floodplain dynamics and scour potential at outfalls. She has worked on modifications to streams and structures, developing alternatives analyses to identify the most efficient solution for each site and is experienced in identifying green and traditional solutions of proposed improvements to create a sustainable solution that is the most economical and feasible for each site. She played a key role in developing GBA’s QA/QC process for our Water Environment Group.

She has provided project management and coordination for several projects with multidisciplinary teams, including the Kansas City ASCE 2018 Project of the Year, 6200 Nieman Storm, Street and Channel Improvements.
