FedEx Freight Services Center

For this project, GBA provided Architect of Record services based on FedEx standard prototype drawings for a new 26,810 SF, 38 door Fed Ex Freight Service Center and warehouse, in Topeka, KS., which includes approx. 4,810 SF of office to house support and operations personnel including a meeting room/storm shelter.

Also included was a 2-door vehicle service bay which occupies 2,080 SF of space at the east end of the service center, and a standalone 192 SF Lube Building. These buildings were designed based on pre-engineered metal building components including structural frame, walls and roof with the exception of the office area which had tilt-up concrete exterior walls.

The project also included a modular Guard House structure (approx. 104 SF with canopy).
